Banana Cream Pie Smoothie


My mom gave me the idea of freezing ripe bananas instead of throwing them away or making 21 loaves of banana bread a month. That has come in handy for my smoothies this week. Just peel, slice and place them on a baking sheet in the freezer for an hour or two. Place in a zip-loc bag and store in the freezer.

1 cup Frozen Sliced Bananas
1 cup Light Vanilla Yogurt
1/2 cup Fat Free Milk
2 Tbs Graham Cracker Crumbs
1 Tbs Dry Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Crushed Ice
Optional: Graham cracker crumbs or whip cream for topping

Place ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

Sunrise Smoothie

Halloween decorations are all put away and Thanksgiving is out! Why is it so hard to find good Thanksgiving decorations?? I need more turkeys!! Although for some strange reason my hubby is telling me I have way too many seasonal decorations in the attic. Duh! That’s why I started putting some in the closets!

Smoothies are such an easy way to sneak in some fruits without the girls knowing. Almost makes me want a juicer! Although I can only imagine their faces if I tried to serve them a bright green drink.

1 cup Strawberries
1/2 cup Peaches
1 medium Banana
1 Tbs Honey
1 cup Orange Juice
2 cups Ice, crushed

Creamy Orange Smoothie

Megan had her first ever Cheer Extravaganza yesterday. I was a proud Mommy! She did such a great job.

It kind of felt like a wedding. A lot of preparation and in 3 minutes it was over.

6 oz Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
2 cups Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
1 packet Truvia
1 1/2 cups Crushed Ice

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
